Boil and bite mouthguards are available at many drugstores and sporting goods stores. You’ll boil the mouthguard in water and bite down on it while it’s still soft, so it forms to the shape of your teeth. Look for boil and bite mouthguards that have the American Dental Association (ADA) Seal of Acceptance.

STOCK MOUTHGUARDS

Stock mouthguards are preformed, ready-to-wear, and often inexpensive, but they don’t fit your teeth as well as custom-made or boil and bite mouthguards.
